How it started
Merchant Solutions LLC was founded in 2007 in Rocky Hill, CT (just outside of Hartford) by a group of industry professionals frustrated with the status quo of the credit card processing industry. Time and again they found clients confused, frustrated, or downright angry over their credit card processing statements and how their low qualified rates they were quoted suddenly ballooned once they received their statements.
What if it were possible to provide the merchant with a clear understanding of exactly what they were going to be charged, upfront, with no surprises? To do that, they would need to set up their own company. Hence Merchant Solutions was born.
What we do – Services and Mission Statement
Merchant Solutions is dedicated to assist merchants in a number of ways. First and foremost is helping merchants navigating the world of credit card processing. Credit card processing is a business that has been given a bad rep due to the numerous hidden fees, fine print, and surprise charges that are, unfortunately, how many in the industry conduct their business.
Here at Merchant Solutions, we are dedicated to providing to the Merchant a FULL UNDERSTANDING of their processing statement, the charges associated, and what they can expect to pay prior to even sending an application. Transparency is our goal, and we work to provide you the clearest explanation of your charges up front, in writing.

In 2007 Merchant Solutions LLC opened its doors with a dedication to excellent service in mind. A simple, yet effective marketing plan was put into place, which is to this day the hallmark of our company – if we can’t save you money on your processing, we’ll send you $100 just for trying.
In 2008, in response to the mounting credit crisis and small to medium size businesses inability to tap into funding from traditional lending institutions, Merchant Solutions grew to include Merchant Cash Advances. Merchant Cash Advances allow companies with difficulties attaining funding tap into their future credit card sales as a source of immediate liquid capital. As well, merchant cash advances repayment terms are based on a fixed percentage of their sales, not a fixed dollar amount as with a bank, providing a much needed release should sales slow.
In 2009, Merchant Solutions launched Overnight Money Express to allow merchants access the funds in today’s batch, settled in their bank account tomorrow morning. This allows merchants to get their money faster, to replenish stock or fund new orders.
Since 2007, Merchant Solutions is proud to say we have saved our client an average of 17% on their processing, resulting in millions of dollars processing charges vs their previous processors. And we aren’t done yet. With our ever expanding list of clients and new services, features and financial products rolling out all the time, we look forward to helping American entrepreneurs grow their business through savings and improved cash flow.
