Andrew Moran, CPP
Sr. Account Executive / Merchant Acquisitions Manager
With a background in sales and internet marketing, Andrew Moran brings to our team not only a strong sales background, but an understanding of what it’s like to be in the merchant’s shoes as well. Having been the managing director of New York Bar Store (www.newyorkbarstore.com) for five years prior to joining Merchant Solutions, Andrew has an extensive background in ecommerce, including all the ins and outs of PayPal, gateways, virtual terminals, and other online payment systems. He was as well was fundamental in Merchants Solutions development of the “Full Disclosure” pricing policy. He as well (oddly enough) enjoys producing detailed rate comparisons, multiple scenario analysis, and is a contributor on allexperts.com and various industry blogs. If your needs are complicated, he’s probably interested.
In 2012, Andrew was awarded the title Certified Payment Professional (CPP) by Electran, the Electronic Transactions Association. The CPP certification “sets the standard for professional performance in the payments industry and is a symbol of excellence…(signifying) that an individual has demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to perform competently in today’s complex electronic payments environment” (http://www.electran.org/content/view/823/504/). As a participant in the first ever round of testing for the newly established CPP program, he was among the first in the nation to receive this accreditation.
When he’s not busy saving people money, Andrew enjoys fishing and all things outdoors, day trips to New York City, is a self described “Simpsons junkie”, avid biker, and perhaps the Giant’s number one fan.

Amit Grover
Account Executive / Marketing and Business Development
Amit holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut and is currently finishing up his Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Hartford. His professional experience includes 5+ years in media marketing and advertising and has worked for the Fox and CW television networks in Connecticut as well as the radio-giant CBS Radio. With a background in media marketing, advertising and sales, Amit brings fresh ideas and an “outside of the box” mentality to come up with new and innovative approaches for the way we handle business on a daily basis.
When Amit is not busy saving merchant’s money or in class working towards the completion of his MBA degree, he enjoys music production & audio engineering and is a trained studio engineer with over 13 years of experience in manipulating audio.
